I'm Mohamed Jakhura, the founder of Jak of All Maths. I'm a fully DBS-checked maths teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE in Primary & Secondary Mathematics. I provide engaging, personalised maths tuition to students across Leicester aged 7–16 — from SATs and KS2 right through to KS4/GCSE.
I have experience supporting students with a wide range of learning needs, including SEND, and I pride myself on creating a patient, inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued and capable of succeeding. Instead of just drilling answers, I help students understand the concepts behind the numbers — so knowledge truly sticks.
Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for SATs or GCSE exams, improving confidence, or aiming for higher grades, I tailor every lesson to their individual learning style and goals. My goal is always the same: build confidence, improve grades.
I'm just as supportive with parents as I am with students — keeping you informed of your child's progress, listening to your concerns, and working closely with you so that you always know how they're doing and how best to help at home. Tuition works best as a partnership, and I'm here for your whole family every step of the way.
